[Kaine can't help but be weary; he's not used to people being nice for the sake of it. In fact, he only really knows how to react to people trying to hurt or kill him. This... this is totally new territory. His brow furrows in confusion.]

[There was a day, months ago, when he'd have said he was just being nice. But even that's a motive, and in Kyle's world... everyone has a motive, and most people are usually trying to kill him, too. It happens when he had a power ring that they wanted.]

I could've given it to the kids instead. You don't have to take it.

[Shakes his head. Frankly, he doesn't care about the juice one way or the other, so much as the action behind it.]
